2009/2010 Series cancelled

It is with regret that we must cancel the proposed series for this summer. There are a number of factors that have brought us to this decision being; low numbers in the first series, general lack of interest from venue stakeholders and sponsors, event date timing, approval and resourcing issues.

If you are keen to enter an event you should contact the Central Coast Tri Club. They are holding monthly events.

We love running events, but sometimes the multitude of factors that are needed for these events, just don't work out. Sorry to disappoint those competitors from last year who were keen to race again.

 The final race of the first series was held 28 March 2009 at Lee Wharf Newcastle. This event attracted 32 competitors and was the State Aquathlon Championships. Congratulations to Boyd Conrick and Regina Wright as the overall winners on the day and also State Champions. Race results are available on the results tab.

Series results are available here in PDF format. Please note that original series rules stated that series winners were only to be taken from the Open Category. Therefore our series winners were Boyd Conrick and Regina Wright. Also congratulation to Shane Ilgen and Alison Elliott who had the highest points, however chose to compete in their age categories. Also congratulations to all age group winners and Team winners Flint and Gosling of Aquagirl and Landlubber team.
